AN OPEN LETTER TO HIS EXCELLENCY YOWERI MUSEVENI OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA AND ALL OTHER HEADS OF STATE IN AFRICA

 Your Excellency Museveni

I bring you greetings from Ghana with hope that you and the people of the Republic of Uganda are doing excellent this day. A very special one to all others on this blessed African soil.

On the 26th day of November 2021, I read a news that was published by guardian.ng "MUSEVENI TO SURRENDER UGANDA'S ONLY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OVER CHINESE LOAN".

It was published that on the 17th day of November 2015, the Uganda government signed an agreement with Export-Import Bank of China (Exim Bank) to borrow USD207 million at two per cent upon disbursement. The loan had a maturity period of 20years including a seven-year grace period.

It has now emerged that, the deal tht was signed with the Chinese lenders virtually means Uganda surrendered it's most prominent and only international airport to China.

I, Bro. Samuel, see this to be one of the greatest mistake that you have done to the people of Uganda and the people of Africa. Many other heads of state in Africa have been doing such and I want to plead that we put a stop to it because such will not help we the youth and future leaders of this Continent.

In March, you sent a delegation to China to renegotiate the clauses of the deal but your officials came back empty handed. China would not allow the terms of the original deal to be varied.

Mr. President, the seizure of the airport by China would mean a great lose to the people of Uganda and Africa.

I will therefore plead that you do your possible best not to hand over that property to China. Please speak with other African countries if possible to help in the matter

All other AFRICAN Counties must arise and support each other. This is the time that African countries could make a CRISIS contribution to save the airport for seizure.

As we have been preaching about African unity, I personally believe that, this is the time. It is now or never

This is the time that the issue of African Unity must be considered with all seriousness as well. It is now or never. Thank you Your Excellency.

I, Bro. Samuel mean no harm, I only write to suggest for future betterment

Bro. Samuel
