The joy on hearing that you have gotten admission to Ghana's premier University is massive, however you can be sad and disturbed for the whole four or six years on campus
One of the major problems that the students of the University of Ghana faces is issues with regards to accommodation. The present number of hostels and bed spaces available on campus for students is nothing good to write home about.
There have been a lot of discussions however still the same. Bro. Samuel Obeng Badu want to go the action pack way, that is be the problem solver here and not just adding my voice to the issue
Samuel Obeng Badu who is also commonly known as Bro. Samuel, completed University of Ghana with a degree in Social Work and Education. He is a hard working and dynamic leader who aims to becoming an eye of Ghana and Africa someday.
He is self-motivated person and has a strong mentality to face pressure and delivers all his duties without fear or favor. He also has good debating skills. He supports the youth because he is of the conviction that a lot of ideas have been gathered by the youth and when giving them the chance they can man a meaningful impact in our society.
Bro. Samuel Obeng Badu therefore want to plead with the stakeholders and the Banks in the country to help solve this issue by planing and making provisions for the needed sums of money to put up a Ten Thousand Bed Space Capacity Hostel in or close to the University of Ghana Legon Campus for the students.
To achieve this, i believe that the problems students had to go through in the University of Ghana every year will decrease drastically. I am ever ready to support with my strength to resolve this issues.
I will therefore call on the government, institutions, the clergy, advocacy groups, private companies, banks, international organisations, all stakeholders and etc to put their hands together to curb this issue.
