There were times or some circumstances where it became difficult to determine, and that brought about the Video Assistant Referee (VAR), so that when ever decisions are hard to make, you consult before making a decision.
That was an excellent move; however, I see it as problematic when a referee decides to make a decision without going to watch that when the majority calls for it. To me, Ghana Black Stars match against Portugal in the on-going World Cup Tournament wasn't a fair one.
A wrong-side penalty was given against Ghana, and that led to Portugal's first goal against Ghana. The other goal that led to Portugal's win was also a clear offside.
I, Bro. Samuel, a proud African would like to ask of FIFA's take in situations like this where serious decisions by the referee are questionable? If we do not hear anything about it within the next twelve house, I will call it pure racism in the highest degree. An offside goal, a false penalty, and no VAR check is BAD in simply put and we can't continue like this. Kindly review the match please because Africa can decide to stop the tournament.
The cheat against Africans in competitions like these is too much and there is therefore a need stop it. What if Africa as a whole decides to stop playing the tournament?. Africans just can't continue like this. Dear FIFA, Kindly Review the above mentioned match.
This then is also a wake up call for all African Unity and Development Organizations. Please act on this matter, because we can not continue like this.
