Greater thanks to the lord of host for his sufficient grace and favor on us. below is the report of Higher Heights Foundation, presented by the founder and president on behalf of the director and executives on projects accomplished and impacts made in 2022 and it covers programs, statistics, achievements, as well as recommendations for the subsequent years.

PROJECTS/ACHIEVEMENTS

Volunteering Program

On February 11th 2022, we organized a volunteering program for some students in the University of Ghana, where students that took part were given volunteering certificates.

A total number of eighteen students showed interest however nine did the program. Their certificates were given to them in the month of March 2022 i.e. immediately they completed the program.

Marker Boards donation 

Higher Heights Foundation on Friday, 25th March 2022 donated maker boards as well as markers to Luom Presbyterian Basic School. This school is located in the Shai Osudoku District. 



Educational empowerment & reproductive health seminars

On the day of the marker boards donation Friday, 25th March 2022, Higher Heights Foundation organized an educational empowerment seminar as well as a reproductive health seminar at Luom in the Shai Osudoku District.

 


Purchasing of a communication device

Higher Heights Foundation on the 15th day of May 2022 purchased a communication device (phone) and registered an official number in the name of the organization to aid in communications related to the organization.

Official website hosting and launching

Higher Heights Foundation officially consulted an organization known as Criton Technologies and they designed and built a website for the organization. The project was completed on 30th June 2022. It was hosted a week after that and was later launched on 13th August 2022.

Volunteering Program

On the 15th of July 2022, Higher Heights Foundation wrote to the department of social work, University of Ghana and was accepted to organize the second edition of the volunteering program for interested students in the department alone. About fifty 50 students showed interest out of which 25 attended the orientation program that was organized. 16 students ended up partaking in the program however the aim and target of the program was achieved. Their certificates were signed by the director of the organization as well as the founder and president and were released to the respective students. 

Donation of drawing boards, mathematical set, branded books etc.

Higher Heights Foundation then again donated drawing boards, mathematical sets, branded books, rulers, pens, pencils and etc. to school children in Timber Nkwanta SDS Basic School. This was done on the 16th day of September 2022. 



Personal Hygiene Seminar

On the 16th of September 2022, Higher Heights Foundation organized a personal hygiene seminar as well as an educational empowerment seminar at Timber Nkwanta in the Eastern Region.

Creation of Committee

For the promotion of the welfare of the members of the organization and also to be able to secure lots of funds for our subsequent projects, the leadership of the organization created the welfare committee and the scholarship committee respectively.

 


Opening of nomination for new Members.

We opened nomination for new people to join the organization where a total of 10 people joined the organization. 18th November 2022.

Status Upgrade

Higher Heights Foundation upgraded its status at the registers general department and relocated its base from Akropong in the Akuapim North Municipality to Accra Ghana and then also started functioning from our temporal office in Accra Ghana. This was achieved on the 20th of November 2022. Presently the director operates from the office.

Bankers Agreement and Announcement

The leadership of Higher Heights Foundation led by the director and the founder and president met with some of the leaders of Prudential Bank to discuss a proposal that Higher Heights Foundation received from Prudential Bank Ltd. On 26th day of November 2022 the leadership of Higher Heights Foundation finally agreed on Prudential Bank LTD been the bankers of Higher Height Foundation.

 


CHALLENGES

In spite of the twelve achievements mentioned, the organization over the year faced some challenges that delayed some of our projects in one way or the other and this include,

 The payment of the monthly dues by members in one way or the other wasn’t encouraging. 

Lack of funds to sponsor some of the projects we planned to organize this year.

Lack of digital camera to record better videos of some of our projects for our followers to see

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

First of all, I thank God so much for the great things He has done for us. A special one goes to our Director, Dr. Elliot Kosi Kumassah for the massive support in all endeavors then also to Mr. Agbevem of the Agbevem family, Oyibi, Accra for his massive support. We say the Lord of Host bless you all not forgotten, Crusader Dalasi Justice Havi of the GhanaFirst Crusaders Movement for his support to the President. At a point he acted as the council to the Founder and President. Then also Mrs. Mary Baah Hagan, administer, Presbyterian Women’s Training College, Aburi and finally to all those that have been sharing our flyers and liking over videos. You’re all part of the success story. Ebenezer, this is how far the Lord has brought us.
