Appointments into the maiden All African Youth Government System- Ghana Chapter Parliament are ongoing and history has already been made.
Comrade Lydia Achare Bakesoaye has emerged as the very first lady to be appointed into the 1st Parliament of AAYGS Ghana.
She will represent the good people of Navrongo-Paga Lands in the 128-member Youth Parliament.
Her appointment is a landmark moment for gender inclusion and youth leadership in the AAYGS Ghana Chapter, reaffirming the organization's commitment to empowering young women in governance.
As the first female appointee, Cde. Bakesoaye has opened the door for many more young women to take up space in leadership and decision-making.
