Samuel Obeng Badu, commonly referred to as "Bro. Samuel," earned a Social Work and Education degree from the University of Ghana. He aspires to one day represent Ghana and Africa as a vibrant and industrious leader.
He is a driven individual who can handle pressure well and performs all of his obligations without fear or favour. He is also a skilled debater. He believes that young people have many ideas and, given the chance, they may have a significant impact on society. For this reason, he encourages young people.
When we asked Bro. Samuel for any advice for the students during a meeting, he responded, "The most beautiful book to read is Die Empty by Todd Henry." While at a business conference, the author was motivated and struck upon the concept for this book. "Where is the richest land in the world?" the director enquired of the crowd.
The Gulf states, one audience member responded, are rich in oil. One more said, "The diamond mines in Africa." The filmmaker then clarified, "No, it is the cemetery." Yes, a cemetery is the world's richest place since millions of people have passed away and taken with them countless priceless concepts that were never discovered or used to the advantage of others.
Everything takes place in the cemetery where they are interred. Todd Henry was inspired by this response to write "Die Empty," a book in which he tried to inspire readers to pour out their thoughts and potential energy into their communities and turn it into something beneficial before it was too late.
The line from his book that I find most beautiful is, "Do not go to your grave and carry inside you the best that you have." Always opt to go empty-handed. The phrase's literal meaning is to pass away empty of all the kindness you possess. Before you go, give it to the world. Put your ideas into action.
Contribute your knowledge if you have it. Reach your objectives if you have any. Do not hold your resources inside if you have the ability to love, share, and distribute them to the less fortunate.
Let's start giving now. Take everything nice you have inside of you out and spread it. The race may now begin. Let's go out empty.
