If it weren't for the influence of maybe, a certain European nation or so, why would Rwanda even engage in combat or invade the Congo, murdering innocent people and damaging property?
I suppose one of the factors at work now is the nation's abundant cobalt deposits, and at the moment, cobalt is regarded as one of the important minerals in these recent war-torn periods.
Airbags in cars, catalysts for the chemical and petroleum industries, cemented carbides, or hardmetals, and diamond tools, corrosion- and wear-resistant alloys, drying agents for paints, varnishes, and inks, dyes and pigments, ground coats for porcelain enamels, and other products are all made with cobalt.
In order to extract their cobalt without their knowledge or at a lower cost and smuggle it out of the nation, the west has now chosen to keep funding rebel groups to destabilise the nation.
Under the authority of rebel groups, the Congolese people have been reduced to slaves within their own nation. With the assistance of M23, Rwanda appears to be smuggling illegal cobalt from the Congo into a particular Western nation.
The discovery of cobalt, which was supposed to elevate Congo to the status of the richest nation, has instead left its citizens among the poorest.
The situation is quite unfortunate, I must add, that some avaricious nations are supporting rebel groups in order to destabilise the Congo. I won't go into the number of deaths, but Rwanda needs to understand that Congo is their biological brother, not just any other western nation. They should also be aware that no well-meaning African nation can benefit from the actions of the white man or Europe. Where is ECOWAS, and should we accept their nonexistence as well?
This must stop. I am Bro. Samuel from West Africa. I mean no harm, I only write to suggest for future development and betterment
