Lydia Seyram Alhassan is a Ghanaian politician and member of the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana representing the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party.
Majority of the students in the University of Ghana will prove to you that during her campaign, Mr. Prince Asumadu was more or less the student that suffered a lot. He did all he can on the grounds to make sure that Hon. Lydia wins the election and it came to pass.
It is disheartening that upon the sleepless night, walking in the sun and campaigning all the way from Okponglo to 37, sleeping in front of kiosk and by roadsides with Prince Asumadu who is now one of the aspirants of the UG-SRC President Position and his team to promulgate the heralding victory of Hon. Lydia Alhassan way back in 2018 by-election after the death of her husband, she has gone ahead to support the opponent of Mr. Prince Asumadu in the UG-SRC elections, without even considering and remembering the good deeds and the loyalty of this young man(Mr. Prince Asumadu).
Even through i am not the one, I feel Mr. Prince Asumadu is going through tough moments as it stand now.
The question I ask myself is what wrong did Mr. Prince Asumadu and his team "Y3Y3 D)M" do ? Is it because he also has no "big" man or person behind him ? But until now the battle has been the Lords.
I pledge my loyalty to this poor boy(Mr. Prince Asumadu) and his team, "Y3Y3 D)M" and would put in my maximum effort to help them gain Victory. The Poor in UG must also gain representation.
SRC is not for the rich elite in the University of Ghana but for all
