THE NEW ERA IN GHANA'S REAL ESTATE SECTOR

Imperial Madeiz Limited, a private investment company in Ghana, is set to commence the Alkebulan City Ghana Development Project—a multi-billion-dollar initiative designed to transform Ghana into a hub of modern urbanization and economic growth.

The project, situated on a 2,000-acre land in Agave Dzebetato within the South Tongu District, seeks to create over two million jobs and drive industrialization in Ghana while contributing to Africa’s self-reliance and global competitiveness.

The Alkebulan City project envisions the construction of a state-of-the-art smart city, featuring ultramodern infrastructure such as schools (from crèche to university level), sporting facilities, hospitals with helicopter emergency services, a mini airport, industrial facilities, energy plants, cultural centers, cyber security hubs, luxurious apartments, and more.

According to the founder of Imperial Madaiz Limited, Dr. Delorn Madeiz, the project is not only a development blueprint for Ghana but also a bridge for Africans in the diaspora to contribute to the continent’s growth. “This project is designed to promote Africa’s self-reliance and attract migration from the western world back to the continent,” he said.

Dr. Medaiz further emphasized the project’s potential to address infrastructural gaps in the Volta Region, which, despite vast land resources, has faced neglect in development.

He also highlighted that contractors from across the West African sub-region, supported by global partners are also bringing their expertise to bear on the project.

Backing the initiative, the CEO of Bluegates Global, a Nigerian real estate firm, described the project as a game-changer, noting its capacity to deliver over 509,000 housing units for families and create millions of jobs. He urged government, the private sector, and traditional rulers to unite in supporting its realization.

Local leadership has also thrown its weight behind the development. The Chief of Agave, Togbega Gadagbe Hlitabo IV, pledged to monitor the project closely, ensuring that locals benefit directly.

With its ambitious scale and far-reaching impact, the Alkebulan City Ghana Development Project stands as a bold step toward redefining urban living in Ghana while boosting Africa’s economy across all sectors
